Overview

To equip learners with the fundamental skills and knowledge required to operate effectively in a modern digital workplace. Graduates will be proficient in using office software, managing data, communicating online, and providing basic IT support.

Module 1: Basics of IT and Computer Systems

  • Introduction to Computing:

  • Computer Hardware:
    • Core components: CPU, RAM, Hard Drive (HDD/SSD), Motherboard.
    • Input devices: Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner, Microphone.

    • Peripheral devices: External drives, Webcams.
  • Computer Software:
    • Difference between System Software (Operating Systems) and Application Software.
