Overview
This intensive course provides a complete deep dive into the PMBOK® Guide and the three exam domains (People, Process, and Business Environment) as outlined by PMI. It is designed to equip experienced project managers with the knowledge, strategies, and practical application skills needed to pass the PMP® exam on the first attempt.
Target Audience:
Experienced project managers who meet PMI’s prerequisites and are preparing to take the PMP® certification exam.
Upon completion, students will be able to:

Module 1: In-depth Study of the PMBOK® Guide and Foundational Concepts
- The PMBOK® Guide – 7th Ed: Key concepts: value delivery, models, methods, and artifacts.
- The Standard for Project Management:Â The 12 principles and 8 performance domains.
- Project Management Models & Methods: Tailoring models (e.g., Tuckman’s ladder) and methods (e.g., estimating, meeting management) to scenarios.
Module 2: Detailed project integration management
- Project Integration Management:Â Developing project charter, project plan, directing work, managing knowledge, and closing.
- Project Scope Management:Â Gathering requirements, defining scope, creating WBS, and validating/controlling scope.
- Project Schedule Management:Â Sequencing activities, estimating durations, developing and controlling the schedule (CPM, PERT).
Module 3: Advanced project scope and time management
- Project Cost Management: Estimating costs, determining budget, and controlling costs (Earned Value Management – EVM).
- Project Quality Management:Â Planning quality, managing quality, and controlling quality.
- Project Resource Management:Â Planning, acquiring, developing, and managing the team.
Module 4: Strategies for cost management and budgeting
- Essentials of Stakeholder Management:Â Identifying stakeholders, planning engagement, and managing engagement.
- Team Leadership & Dynamics:Â Empowering teams, training, conflict management, and motivating team members.
- Communication Management:Â Planning, managing, and monitoring project communications.
Module 5: Comprehensive risk management approaches
- Comprehensive Risk Management:Â Planning, identifying, analyzing (qualitative/quantitative), planning responses, and implementing responses.
- Project Procurement Management:Â Planning, conducting, and controlling procurements.
- The Business Environment Domain (8%):Â How projects align with organizational strategy, compliance, and delivering value.
Module 6: Techniques for quality management and assurance
- Agile Principles & Mindset:Â Key agile concepts, roles (SM, PO), and artifacts (backlog, increments).
- Hybrid Life Cycles:Â Combining predictive and adaptive approaches.
- Tailoring Techniques:Â Modifying processes to fit unique project contexts.
Module 7: Essentials of stakeholder management and communication
- Stakeholder Identification:
- Techniques: Brainstorming, org charts, reviewing documents.
- Output:Â Stakeholder Register.
- Stakeholder Analysis:
- Power/Interest Grid: Categorize stakeholders (e.g., Manage Closely, Keep Satisfied).
- Assess influence, expectations, and potential impact.
- Communication Planning:
- Develop a Stakeholder Engagement Plan.
- Tailor messages based on stakeholder needs (frequency, format, channel).
- Engagement & Monitoring (20 mins):
